Deadline for Abstract Submission(s): Tuesday, 1 September 2026 at 23:59 CEST

 

Abstract Guidelines

− The Scientific Committee highly encourages the submission of original scientific material on the topic of antimicrobial resistance and implementation science in healthcare.
The topic is broad and can include infection control, antimicrobial stewardship, economic analysis or implementation science.

Language - English.

− At least one author must be registered for (in-person) attendance at the Conference.

− The use of AI-generated content (images or figures) is acceptable, but must be stated. 

 

Abstract Structure

If applicable, the abstract should consist of the following sections:

1. Title - please use sentance case not title case (do not use only capital letters).

2. Content - limited to 3000 characters and should consist of the following:
  ∼ Background
  ∼ Method(s)
  ∼ Results (Arithmetic characters should be seperated with spaces. Example: Permitted is the notation "p < 0.5", whereas "p<0.5" is not permitted.
  ∼ Conclusion

3. Authors - please include all authors in correct order.

4. Affiliations - please include the authors complete affiliations by including the corresponding company / institution, department, location, and country.

5. Acknowledgements or references can be added below the abstract body / content. These do not count towards the character limit.

6. References should be indicated using the following format: 
- author name, journal name, year of publication, volume, starting page - without manuscript title;
e.g., (Smith AG. et al, J Fant 2002:79:567)

7. Please note, figures, tables, and / or graphs are limited to two total per abstract. 

 

Submission

Please email your completed abstract(s) in PDF form to reverse@usz.ch

 

Selection 

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed and rated by the Scientific Committee of the REVERSE Conference.

Accepted abstracts will be selected for one of the following:

  − ePoster 
     All posters will be shown in digital form as an ePoster. There will be NO printed posters at the Conference.

  − Oral Presentation
     The oral presentations will be eitgh minutes long with four minutes for Q&A.

All selected abstracts will be published in the REVERSE Poster Library on the project website after the Conference. 

 

Notification

Acceptance for both ePosters and oral presentations will be communicated to the corresponding / submitting author no later than mid-October 2026.
