Work Package 1: Hospital Studies
Work package 1 has the following objectives:
1. Organise and manage a multi-centre, stepped-wedge, cluster-randomised clinical trial on the effectiveness of microbiology and diagnostic stewardship, infection prevention and control, and antibiotic stewardship.
2. Collaborate closely with the work packages on the microbiology and diagnostic stewardship programme, infection prevention and control programme, antibiotic stewardship programme, and implementation.
3. Analyse primary and secondary outcomes and provide data for the work package on the economic effectiveness.
