Work Package 2: Microbiology and Diagnostic Stewardship Programme

Work package 2 has the following objectives:

1. Establish state-of-the-art microbiology methods to detect CRE, CRPA, and CRAB.

2. Improve the number of blood culture samples to European average.

3. Perform repetitive point prevalence surveys on CRE in participating hospitals. 4. Investigate clonal relatedness of identified CRE.
