Fighting Resistance: A European Approach to Sepsis at UZH.

The 24th Day of Clinical Research at the University Hospital Zurich took place on Thursday, 22 May 2025, from 08:00 - 16:30. This year's overarching theme focused on sepsis and the multidisciplinary challenges it presents. Prof. Dr. Walter Zingg, the Principle Investigator of the REVERSE Project, played a significant role in the comprehensive programme. He delivered a plenary lecture entitled: "How Do We Improve the Resistance Situation? A European Approach".
Antimicrobial Stewardship Implementation Webinar

Hosted by the University of Verona, this interactive programme featured lectures on global and local antibiotic stewardship policies and provided insights into the SAVE and REVERSE projects. We were excited to welcome Professor Karin Thursky, director of the National Centre for Antimicrobial Stewardship in Australia, who presented the keynote lecture on antibiotic stewardship activities in Australia.
